Message from your doctors, nurses and health experts on using Public spaces.
Stay safe – It’s not over yet!
People of all ages, from children to elderly can be infected.
Avoid closed, confined, crowded spaces
- Closed, confined, and crowded spaces are high-risk because there is less air movement, trapping infected droplets.
- Avoid spending time in these areas as much as possible.
Wear a Face Mask when you’re going out
If you have to go out to a public area, ensure you wear a face mask. A face mask protects you and others from infected droplets
Avoid touching commonly-used surfaces
Avoid touching commonly-used surfaces with your bare hands, such as lift buttons, pens and staircase railings. If this cannot be avoided, wash your hands with soap or alcohol-based sanitisers immediately. Do not touch your face.
Provide accurate personal details for contact tracing
Please provide accurate personal details when entering shops, restaurants and
other public areas. This will help KKM carry out contact tracing if there are positive
COVID-19 cases reported amongst customers. Do your part to help make the
process more effective!
Dispose of your Face Mask Safely
Immediately throw out your disposable face masks as soon as you get home.
Alternatively, you can wash your cloth masks with soap and water.
Report unsafe behaviour to the Authorities
If you see people behaving in a manner which is unsafe, alert premise managers,
guards or police. The fight against COVID-19 requires community effort, we are in
this together.
